Social Integration through Street Football
Football is played all over the world. Whether in the Amazon rainforest or in the slums of Mumbai, the enthusiasm for football is shared by many, especially young people. The organization Street Football World, founded by Jürgen Griesbeck of Berlin, uses this potential to improve the living conditions and opportunities for children and young people. The street football championships organized with the help of many partners and more than 25,000 volunteers help to strengthen values such as tolerance, fairness and gender justice.

Why chosen
Street Football World is a successful example of how a good idea can gain worldwide appeal. Because the potential to use football as a social link is enormous. The organization and its founder, Jürgen Griesbeck, has received numerous awards, including from the Schwab Foundation for Social Entrepreneurship and Ashoka.
